    Guestbook help please!

Can someone PLEASE tell me how to change the BV9 Guestbook admin password? It seems that one can type anything into the password field, and it gives access to the guestbook admin. This is not at all secure, and has become an urgent issue! Please help!

    Thanks,
    Sandra

Sandra ... I haven't tried it yet myself, just playing around a bit with it now, but in the advanced area of the properties box, is it to untick show admin? Also can you change the password there? You likely have tried that??

Trish have you mastered this yet???

LadyEye, you're a genius! I had my 'show admin' unticked, so that was fine, but all it takes is knowing the admin url for anyone to get the login screen. The problem is that (a) the admin url is listed in this forum, which is accessible to anyone with an internet connection, and (b) the password field accepted anything entered into it. It didn't occur to me (duhhh...) that the place to change admin password would logically be in the properties box.

Live and learn...! Thanks so much for your help!

Just because Voda has a Guestbook... Does'nt mean you have to use it... There are plenty of HTML based ones on the net...

          First one on google search???

Good Luck with your site and remember Voda added a HTML box to there builder for a reason and there are so many programs out there free that can be inserted into that HTML box....
