I want to re-direct visitors from my old website to my new one, who should I contact about it BV or the old website provider.

You will need to go into your account manager with the other provider and redirect to the servers VodaHost has assigned to your account. If you do not know how to do this, call your service provider and tell them to do it for you. Check out the tutorial here
