    audio files

Being somewhat of a novice at this, I'm hoping some of you VodaHost whiz kids might be able to help me out. My product is in the form of audio files that I want people to be able to download after they've paid for them. I understand the process of payment (PayPal) but I'm not sure how to make the files available to the paying public. It would also be a good thing if I had a way of controlling the number of downloads a single buyer could make. If anyone could steer me in the right direction, I'd sure appreciate it.

    Re: audio files

Microsoft has some nice material covering Digital Rights Management (DRM). this would be covering many aspects of managing your digital assests and the processes that are involved. There is also information on how to securely deliver your media in a number of ways.

That, is of course, going to steer you into the complexities of it all, but since you are already set for accepting payments via PayPal, try browsing through it once. Then, go through PayPal's documentation. I know they have something that can help you find a solution...if not a good part of it.

Just keep in mind the steps one would be required to take either prior, during, or after the payment transaction has been made.
