    505 Error

Worked this morning and published several pages. Suddenly, the next publishing attempt brought up a 505 error. This error happened after I had added links to a main page and attempted to republish that page.
My site is http://www.homespunways2.com with addon site of http://www.homespunways.homespunways2.com.
The page that gets the 505 error is http://www.homespunways.homespunways2.com/games.html

Thank you for any advice you can send this way.

Hi, shows up fine at my end on all pages. The 505 error is possibly something to do with your browser settings.
    Regards Chris.

Yes, all the pages did publish correctly in the beginning. The next step was to add links on to the main page that would tie all the pages together. It was when I tried to republish that page with the added links on it, that the 505 error came up.

I appreciate your time and will check into the browser. I just can't imagine why it was publishing one minute and then erroring the next when nothing on my end had changed that I know of. Thanks again. I admire the expertise demonstrated by you in your form postings.

Hate to say it, but i'm still in trouble here since Friday with no publishing available due to error messages. Now it says: "Error: 550 Can't change directory to public_html: No such file or directory". Being somewhat dyslectic, The 550 may have been the message in the beginning instead of 505. The result is the same.

I've run every virus and spyware scan available to mankind with no negatives showing up. I've checked the browser which promises to be supporting html 1.1. I've re-installed BlueVoda version 9.1G. I opened ftp and created a folder called public_html -- heaven knows where the one that was supposed to be there went. I put in a support ticket. I've done all I know to do except to s**** the whole thing and forget it. Can someone tell me how to fix this? Or, is it a fatal error that can't be fixed?

The 550 may have been the message in the beginning instead of 505. The result is the same.
The result is not that same, no one can assist you if you are giving inaccurate error codes.

OK.... A 550 error means that you are trying to publish into a directory that does not exist....Make sure you are publishing into your public_html.....What does the directory box say???

            Re: 505 Error

Hello, Voda Host and everyone who was concerned for the difficulty being experienced here. The culprit was not Blue Voda, nor was it me, nor was it this computer. It was my Internet Service Provider who were having server problems which in turn affected my ability to communicate with bule voda. There was a series of error messages received throught this experience, on which I've become well educated, and finally the phone lines went out completely (no such thing as dsl out here, but we're promised good things to come). Right now, this minute, today, all is working extremely well.

I am sorry to have taken your time and thought with a problem which was not yours. Thank you again for your efforts on my behalf.
