SSL Certificate

I have purchased an SSL Certificate from Comodo. Having problems getting VodaHost Support to generate a CSR which is required for any SSL. Does anyone have any experience setting up a SSL with VH. Already paid VH for a Dedicated IP address & setup. Advise if you can help.

You need to work closely with VodaHost Support (already engaged) to resolve your particular issues.

Remember to not create new Tickets, but reply to earlier responded tickets (regardless if they state status as "Closed").

Is it the case that you have to buy your SSL certificate from Vodahost at a current cost of $99 a year. Or can i buy a cheaper ssl from another service provider and then obtain the CSR key from Blue Voda. Many thanks John

Obviously, the Rapid SSL purchased through VodaHost is optimally installed (VH will actually do it for you), but is not required. However, many of the other options from other providers are not as compatible as they might seem from first analysis......especially when it comes to the fact they are restricted to sub-domains (not add-on domains), the type of protection they truly offer, the installation process, or the warranty they provide. (Namely, Verisign, GoDaddy, GeoTrust, iSecure, and even Rapid Direct. Stay very far away from any "subscription" or "lifetime" types of scam 'certificates' for they are noting but a waste of money and merely a pretty little picture!)

In the long run, I think you will find the value, versatility, and outright performance of the Rapid SSL VodaHost makes available the brightest choice for you, your administration, and your customers as well.

You can not create a csr on your own, please submit a ticket and we will do it for you free of charge.
