New Domain / WHOIS Anonymity

Two quick questions I was hoping someone could help me out with.

1) I registered a new domain 2 days ago with the correct DNS info, etc and it still isn't showing on the web. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong here? How long does it usually take from when you register it to when it's active?

2) How do I change my registration with WHOIS to show as either Vodahost or anonymous rather than my personal info?

1.Your domain should appear shortly

2. Go to "customer support" in Blue Voda and click on "ID Protect" full details are there it costs $9.95 per year

It looks like the ID protect is $9.95 per domain. I guess there's no blanket package that covers all your registered domains?
