I have followed the tutorials and I can't link

Please help a very frustrated ready to quit and pay someone newbie.

I have followed all the treads and all the posts and tutorials I can find, but I still can't get my links to work. I have used buttons on my index page to link to my other pages. I have followed the tutorial and put the links as "www.sharethewealth4success.com/about.html ...etc with all the links. I have put target to "blank" and I have re-published all of them. What am I doing wrong?

also why is the entire backround a link to http://www.sharethewealt4success.com/index

(which is spelt wrong also)
