Link Tool is Inactive on Home page

website: bloodkisses.net (This site is under construction)

I have created 2 pages so far: index.html and cast.html. On the index page (home) I created a navigation button that is to launch the cast page when its pressed. When I try to add the hyperlink info, the hyperlink tool is grayed out and inactive. What am I doing wrong?

You have used a button that is solely for Submitting forms I think.

If you want a button link, use the 'Navigation' menu

Thanks for your speedy reply. Your solution was correct. Can the navigation button have text on it?

If I add text on top of the button, the text blocks the hyperlink on most of the button.

You don't add the text that way, you get an option to add your own text when making the button in the navigation bar.

I'm not a big fan of buttons, you are much better doing text links anyway : - )

I believe you're referring to the "Alternate Text" area. I have that filled-in but nothing appears in the preview. Also there is no control of the Text attributes.
