Need help converting publsh file to bluevoda file

    Hello everyone,

For the past 2 months I was not able to used my laptop and when I came home, my hard drive is not working, and I was not able to backup my bluevoda file of my website.

Is there a way to convert the publsh file (mean the running website) going back to bluevoda so I won't start my website development from the start? I appreciate any input.

    Thanks,

    janeth

Hi, it has its limitations. But try:
File>New page>From Existing HTML Page> Enter your sites url & check the radio button (remote on the Internet)
    Regards Chris.

      Thanks chris,

I tried, but it doesn't get all the content of the page took only that fit to the screen, maybe that's the limitation that you mentioned. At least I got the header. I still keep searching hoping someone can give me more info.

thank you very much for the help.

BV will import the entire page, then you need to go to Page Properties and increase the page height to be able to see the entire page.

However, BV will not import dropdown menus if any, Javascripts, and the classic menus (nav bars) will be imported as single, linked images (with no mouse over changing) because they also are based on Javascript.
