can someone please tell me what width to set my center in bowser as, so my web pages look the same on a wide screen pc and a normal one.

Your safest bet is to stick to 800 wide as there are still a section of the internet community using 800 wide settings.

can you tell me at what point dos it center?

i did the 800 width. but it has got bigger!

Build your pages always tight to the top and left in your site builder.
Then go to view - page properties and tick the box that says Center In Browser, and your page will be centered.
