File Manager Question

When I go into File Manager, I have a lot of files that read
bv01854_over.gif and
bv01854.gif

Do I need both of these or can I delete one and if so, which one do I delete.

Do not delete those. They are the Navigation menu images. The one is the normal image and the other is the mouse-over image.
