Template ERROR CODE

Template Error: set_root: tpl is not a directory.
Halted.

I get the above error code when I go to my site to try and install the Formmail template. I've followed the instructions to a T and actually, have done it several times.

The folder FMP is in my pblic_html file -- the permissions are set properly --
Any suggestions as to what to do next?

I appreciate the quick response. I'm just wondering though, if there might be a way we can get them to correct that on the instructions. I've spent several hours trying to do it and then to find out that BV ftp does not upload properly.

It would save alot of time and frustration if they would simply put in the instructions to use a different FTP program.
