That is a very nice banner. I am 99.99% positive that it was made with adobe photoshop.

For sure a photoshop banner 99.9985% sure. I have photoshop version 8.0. It looks pretty easy to do but unforunatley photoshop takes a little time to learn. There is a person on this forum who could help you out, I think its steve h . pet121

If you need a program that is just as powerful as photoshop but free, then try using "The Gimp", for some it is harder to use, but it all depends if you have a few hundred dollars to spend on a program.

The question is not wether the software can make banners like that. Many
softwares can do the job quite nicely. The question is. Does the user of the
software have the skills and most importantly the "artistic ability" to create
such a fantastic banner....

Take me for example...I have the latest version of Adobe Photo Shop and I
know how to use it very, very well...I took night classes for it...But what I
completely lack is any artistic ability...So I could never in a million years
create such a banner because I completly lack any artistic abililty...

The Good news is what I lack in artistic ablility I more than compensate
with good looks and charm;)

Here ya go, Gina! It really is a good program, but like Watdaflip mentioned earlier, it takes some getting used to.
