    Re: anchors

I had the same question. In BlueVoda anchors are called bookmarks. Select Insert from the menu bar and you will see Bookmark

      Re: anchors

      Insert/Bookmark
Place it where you need it.
      Name it i.e., mystuff
      Link would be:

The # is mandatory to use.
You DO NOT add the # to the bookmark name.

Is there supposed to be an icon that appears when I do insert/bookmark?
I don't see anything- what am I doing wrong?

              Re: anchors

I couldn't see it because I didn't drag the curser arrow to "open" the box with the flag.
I have to do that when adding text as well, but it doesn't seem like I used to have to - it just appeared as a box with blue handles and click to edit.
Got any ideas about why that has changed?
Thanks for the prompt reply! MUCH appreciated.

                Re: anchors

hmmm...with this on top of your text problem, I'm wondering if you shouldn't install a fresh BV download. Flag in box with blue handles is the way it's supposed to be.

                  Re: anchors

Good idea and I did it. but it was only from 10.1 version to 10.12 and didn't seem to make any difference. when I stumble across the reason for having to drag the arrow to open inserts I'll let you know.
                  thanks again

                    Hi there,

I had the same problem myself.

Go to Tools > Options > and make sure the "use drag and drop to create new objects" is UNCHECKED.

                    Hope that helps

Now THAT'S a handy thing to know!!! Thank you!

Maybe this should get posted in a different thread where others might find it?
