help! my new page wont publish!

hello!
i currently have an under construction index page published on the web, but my new page is ready to be published. i saved it as index (replacing the under construction page), and tried to publish it, but the under construction page is still there!
any help on this please??

hi there, thanks for the reply, but the new index page is on the web, but is under www.click-klick.com/index.html, but the under construction page which i want it to overwrite is under the page www.click-klick.com ! so how do i get the new index page to come under the www.click-klick.com ?

its the same page, index.html always defaults to to your domain.

but its not tho, now i have 2 seprate index pages, one under www.click-klick.com and one under www.click-klick.com/index.html ive tried deleting the first one but it doesnt seem to work!

problem seems to have corrected itself! all is well now, i knew that they were both the same page but as you said i think it must have been caching! cheers for the help tho!
