how to dl mp3s from a page???

apologies if this has already been posted, the volume of posts makes it a little too much to sort thru, and maybe im a little flustered and cant see a search thingy.

I would like to have an mp3 on a page so a client can down load it, it is essential they dl embeded in the page, so they see my logo and info etc.

I want to avoid the ftp direct link, as they dont actually get redirected to my site.

OLE object looks like what i need, because when i press on it, the linked mp3 appears as a DL.. but when published it does nothing but sit there smug doing nothing?

I would ftp my mp3 - insert the link to this on a webpage - but I would pass around the link to the webpage instead so that they are brought to your website if that is what you are wanting to do.

Thanks for that.. after many hours of leading myself in the dark... i worked out just that, or i think i did. Its so cool, now it can play and dl at the same time. It works on both my Mac & my PC in my room...maybe you could have a little test?
As I only worked this out about 3 hours ago (dont bother listening.. its only doof doof stuff that will give you a head ache lol )

Works great with the Smirnoff .. I have a feeling that is what was missing in those many hours, LOL .. Looks nice too and you can close the media player and your site is still there ... great job!!

For my next trick.... Making a page where clients can upload their Audio to a page. I'm sure Ill come knocking when I think Ive nailed it.
