query convex, moving image banner

Hi.

I once came across a photographer's website and he had his photos in thumbnail size, stretched out along the screen in horizontal. When you hovered your mouse over a thumbnail, the whole banner of photos moved left to right to allow viewing, each photo enlarging in convex style towards you.

I was wondering how this was done.

Anybody know?
