Rotating Banner- transition settings?

Hi
Using the rotating banner for multiple images. Is there a setting to make the transitions from photo to photo look more smoother? Right now it looks like a slide show, I am hoping to be able to make a photo fade out as a new one is fading in or something similar.
Would i need to use a different feature for this effect?

another option is to make a movie out of your pictures. you should have a free program on your computor called Movie maker. if you follow the editing tutorials you should get the effects you want. Make a WMV file and then import it to the page through your Window Media tool.
