    web image size problem

    Hi hope someone can help.

I have designd my first web site and published it, only thing is my pc is set up to a screen size of 1280 x 1024 pixels and didn't think this would cause a problem.
It looks fine on my pc but people keep telling me that they have a scrool bar at the bottom and do not see the full page without sliding the bar from left to right. I have looked at this from my laptop and they are correct.

When i look at other peoples sites on my pc it looks fine, and if i use my laptop it is fine. Can anyone HELP!!!!!

    Thanks

In BlueVoda activate the ruler feature by going View >> Rulers
Always build your pages for a 600 x 800 screen resolution. Anything
else and you are risking distortions.

      Re: web image size problem

Thanks for the reply, when i do this should it not auto convert to the size of my pc setting automaticaly. ie if i set my pc to the highest setting and go on to google it is centered, and if i change my setting to the lowest resolution and look back at google it auto converts, as does your forum page. Don't understand this. I have gone into page properties and clicked onto centre in browser, but this does nothing!

Hope you can point me in the right direction.

      Thanks Eamonn
