New software download ver 7.7

I have just downloaded version 7.7. But every time I try to start the application it comes up with an error "Failed to open document".

What should I do

2) reboot

7.7 Upgrade problems

I can't get 7.7 upgrade loaded. I keep getting the message, "Error in compressed file Bad CRC" What's the problem.
