Help please

I have installed a script into the publichtml folder and followed the instruction on how to upload via the ftp. Went into the config.php like the instructions says to do and mad ethe changes and this is what I get

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Any ideas on how to fix this. I added a database and user per the how to videos.

You did something wrong...delete everything and try again.
