I need help in understanding all the icons and how it works

I need guidance on the meaning and the difference on icons such as "Form", "TextArea", "EditBox" and"ComboBox". What is the difference between them? How do I create the shape I want within the page and start typing the text? Which one of those do I use? How do I create a form for my buttons?

Also, I followed all the directions on using the backgrounds, but it doesn't seem to work at all. When I click on properties, it says that I have a background, but I see a white page only.

I wish there would be a step-by-step guide (starting from scratch) on how to build a website with this software. I'm sure it's quick once you know it, but right now, it surely doesn't look or feel easy. Far from it...

Hi and thanks to all who replied to my post. It's funny, but I spent a lot of time today just figuring out how to find it.:=) Yes, I'm a total beginner and I clicked on the tutorials (everyone is sending me to see them), but I still can't figure it out. (For instance, I can't find in the tutorials anything about each icon and what it is for. Also, I seem to be following instructions on creating a background, but it remains to be white. I also wanted to copy or clone the pages from one of my existing sites (www.drlead.com). However, I couldn't do that either.) I would be very happy to offer my career/life coaching services via phone in exchange for a few hours of phone guidance to help me build my site. I'm really frustrated and would like to publish a site before Christmas.
