    hyperlink color is set

I set the color link for the links in the tab of "page properties" to a light blue. when I create the link on the page, it shows dark blue and I can't get rid of it. Why isn't it showing light blue?

Highlight the word or phrase, then rt click to bring up a menu box. Choose "Link...". This will bring up a box that has a section called "Appearance." Click the "Edit styles" button there. Click "Add" to bring up a box that will allow you to change the colors and underlining of the link. Etc.
