open or close several pages at once

Is there a way to open and close several pages (files) at once? I am finding it frustrating when I change one thing on a page that needs to be changed on all pages and I have to open and close them one at a time

If you need to alter every page anyway you will need to open all pages so no matter which way you do it it's time consuming. Have a look at Naval's thread about 'single menu php'

I realize you want to open a bunch of files at the same instant--you can't do that, but you CAN have more than one page open at a time, which makes it fast to move from page to page (using the tabs). Just to clarify for readers here. And the quickest way to save all open pages is to attempt to close BV which will then ask you if you want to save the pages you've modified (one at a time but faster than going from page to page to save).
