  • Hyper link an internal page in BV

    Hello

I have created several pages in BV. Now I am trying to link them but BV uses proprietary format so I can't link a page in an object.

Could someone tell me how it works please?

    Thanks a millionaire

    Simon

Re: Hyper link an internal page in BV

Hi, the hyper linking wont fully work until you are live on the web. BV saves your page as a bvp file & then converts it to html only when you publish to your VH server. It will then become live & fully work as a html page. So! if you name you page "contact" & save, then publish to your VH server, the link will be. http://www.yoursite.com/contact.html
        Regards Chris.

          Hello,

Thank you for your help!! This means I can't test it until I subscribe to Voda's hosting service.. I would like to test it before going live. I may have to try some other web design package then...

          Thanks again.

Re: Hyper link an internal page in BV

Hi, that's correct. But a very minor part of building a web page. If you have a page called www.mysite.com/mypage.html Not quite sure how will you fully test it, if not on the web. If the url above is not on the web, there is no way to fully test your site & links. Even the BV Tools>link veryify, needs your pages on a server to test.
            Regards Chris.
