Can a hosting account be transferred to another person?

    Can a hosting account be transferred to another person?

    My business partner currently has 2 accounts, one of which has all his sites on it. I have access to both as I help with site building. He is very ill and has asked me to take over his hosting, so is it possible to just change the name on the account along with changing payment arrangements? If so, how is that done?
