Geodesic classifieds lite

Can and anyone give me a step by step guide to installing it. i read that you just ftp it onto the server and then direct my browser to the subfolder followed by /geoinstaller/geoinstaller.php. but i keep getting a error

Not Found

The requested URL /classified/geoinstaller/geoinstaller.php was not found on this server.

right ive managed to upload it and create a database for it and changed my database informantion in the config. file and replaced to old one but now getting a error

could not connect to database

Check your 3 database connection parameters according to the video tutorial
or the step by step visual tutorials in the tips and tricks section.

watched them and its all created just wont connect just keep getting the error
