redirect to another page after flash intro

I've just added a flash intro to my site and i've got a couple of issues / questions

    1. i've read that by having this intro search engines will not be able to gain access, how can i overcome this? ( i've used profx program to create this and have uploaded to my site but don't know how to change the page with bv )

    2. is it possible to open another page automatically after a period of time?
as when the flash finishes it goes blank and you have to refresh to get the link back to enter

    many thanks

It is not very good to have just a flash intro on you homepage and nothing
else. Search engines hate this. They want content!

A couple ways to do this.Download Swishmax to edit/create Flash intros to embed code to redirect or an easier way is to use Comteche to get a free page and hosting,I still think it's free.
They have Flash intro's that you can build and an option to redirect to your main site.
I have used both successfuly. There flash intros have a spot for meta info as well, but the page content is what really counts.
