    Hi,

    The is a .org, and the new site is a .com with a new url name.

    Sorry about that, what happen to my question, hmm

    Can a site be automatically redirected to a new site with out the end-user clicking on the URL pointing them there?

    .org to .com

      Yes.. you can do that in your control panel..so that anytime they hit a link to the .org they are redirected to the .com

        Thank you first. Even if the site was not mine and on a different server? I have the go ahead for the new site to go live and communicated the webmaster of the old site. I told him I would ask, and find out how to do that. The reason I asking just to make the transition smoother. I have completed the new site in Bluevoda and pretty much published all the pages.

        existing site: njbassfed.org

        New site: njbassfederation.com

        Can I still do this in my control panel? or he has to do it, or something?

          No you would have to have access to his domain registrar most likely to unlock and repoint it or move it. You would also have to have access to his control panel.
