Image gallery links

I need to display 32 images (80k each, 160x160) on a single page. This of course is very easily done as a gallery. The problem is that I have to link each image to a downloadable image which is different from the one shown in the gallery. Can anybody help me? Thank you very much!

Muse you cannot link unless you already have a website.
So buy the VH Hosting account first, setup your webpage and publish to your domain.

Then only you can link.

Please also learn the cardinal rule of this forum.

Do not use the gallery.

Goto cPanel>public_html and open a new folder and name it photodownload.

Before uploading use the PIXresizer to rename all your photos numerically
i.e. 001, 002, etc.,
Zip each and every download photo file.
FTP all your photos for download to the above folder.
The photos will showup in your folder as 001.zip,002.zip etc.,

Place the 160x160 photos on your web page in BV and arrange individually.

Highlight the photo then select the hyperlink icon [globe and chain]
and select link. Place the full url of the photo in the dialogue box.

http://www.yourdomainname.com/photodownload/001.zip

Publish you webpage with the 160x160 thumbs.

When anyone click on any thumb, the download will be activated

Thanks a lot for your help; unfortunately, I understand that each image must be placed and linked individually. With over 600 images it will take me ages....

Could you not group the images in batches? or are they being sold individually.

Images are to be downloaded individually. At the moment the only solution I can think of is to place a transparent shape on each image of the gallery and link the shape to the downloadable file. This way I still have to put in one link at a time but at least I can place the images in groups. Thank you for your attention!

Might be worth a look as a freebie?

Have a click on the change of theme button at the bottom of the demo gallery when opened. (Got some nice themes/layouts)

Thank you Chris, I'll have to study these galleries (I'm an absolute beginner), beautiful themes and a lot of features. I will not need all that is related to commerce but it could be a solution.
