Sorry about being a newbie. I need to create a page that has terms and definitions on it (there will be perhaps 200 or so) in alphabetical order and perhaps have the alphabet across the top so that a visitor can click on the "S" for example and it jumps to the terms that begin with "S". I have seen this on many sites.

Ok.. so whats the question? You do the alphabet with anchors (links to specific area of a page) If thats what you want to know..
I think bv does this as creating a bookmark

This might help on the book mark part. If you are using BV & are planning pages this long, would recommend using tables for the text or separate pages for each letter of the alphabet.
