    Help!! Can't stop page transitions

    G'Day,

I have viewed my site on explorer and the pages are transitioning to each other when you click a link. A few months ago i tried the transition effect, but did not like it. I removed it from all my pages and reloaded them, but still happens. I have just removed everything from by publish folder in FTP manager and doubled check all the pages have no transitions attached via the menu link and the page properties. republished again, but still there!! Can anyone help.

    Cheers
    LJ

Hi, are you using any dynamic 'includes' on your site?

No, I am not sure what they are... so I guess I am not using them.

        Ok :)

So, you're saying that on every BV page when you click Page Properties, then Page Transitions - you have it set to 'No Effect' ?

Is it possible to give a link to your site, so we can check the HTML?

Also, are you using any outside scripts in your site?

                Hi LJ

It's definitely there in the head HTML of every page I looked at:
                <meta http-equiv="Page-Exit" content="blendTrans(Duration=7)">

Is this your primary domain with VodaHost?
If so, when you re-published, did you publish to public_html/ and not to public_html/screenactorsonline.com ?

(By the way, very nice site! A bit too wide to fit comfortably on the common 1024 width screen though.)

Something else that might be worth a look is in the publish box area, is it set to publish all files.
Also as sunchaser correctly pointed out, your pages are very wide & it seems you are building your site as it looks on your screen & should be building from the far left of your BV screen. This might help.
                  Regards Chris.

                    Sunchaser,

When I publsihed I did so to public_html/ and yes it is my primary domain. why??

I looked in properties, I can now see the html code, but cannot remove it.

Did you make sure that all transitions are cleared? You may have cleared Page Enter but not Page Exit.

I can see them in the html text box, but they do not allow me to change them. I shall try again.

Right click on the page and select page properties. Select Transitions and click on the arrow by Page Enter and check each one of the options there to make sure they are cleared

                            Hi LJ

The above post sounds like a really good suggestion - as the html in your head code says 'page exit' - you might not have been stopping the page exit:

                            Page enter
                            Page exit
                            Site enter
                            site exit

(Asking about where you were publishing to was just going through the process of elimination. Sometimes people re-publish to the wrong place - therefore their pages don't update.)
