index page comes up

I need some help naming my pages. After posting my page the index page is what comes up. I have watched the video help, but just don't get it.

The index is the default page for your website (I assume you are saying you created an index page and what is what is coming up. If you are saying you are getting "Index of /", then you need to publish a page called index).

From the index page you publish you then give links to other pages, which can then give links to other pages as well.
