    cannot link pages

    Hello,

I am at a loss linking my pages.

I want my index page to link to another index2 in a new directory which in turn will link to other pages in that directory.

Give me an example please. Should public_html be included in the path?

I have read the tutorials, but I still cannot cope with this.

    Thank you in advance.

    Re: cannot link pages

    Hi jojopara,

    Hmmm....

I want my index page to link to another index2 in a new directory which in turn will link to other pages in that directory.
    - Index usually means the Front Page / Home Page. Do you mean you have 2 Home Page or you just want to link it to another link? If you are linking to another link, there are many ways to do it.
(eg: Menu Bar, Go Menu, Text Menu, Tab Menu & etc....) Look at the right side of your BV Builder)

Should public_html be included in the path?
    - All pages are automatically published as public_html.
    - Just remember to add .html / .php at the end of your link.
    (eg: http://www.yourdomain.com/yourlink.html)
    (eg: http://www.yourdomain.com/yourlink.php)
    - And of course, remember to right click for Page Properties/File Extension: choose either html / php when page is published. Follow your link...

    Hope this is helpful
    Best Regards,

    Foo

      Re: cannot link pages

      Hi jojopara,

You will only need one index page for a website or domain.
The rest of the pages you can name whatever you like and link them to your "index" page.

When you type your url in the browser for example www.yourdomain.com, the browser will search for your "index" page.

Your "index" page is your Homepage for your domain or website.

To create a directory login to your cPanel and goto "public_html"
Then add a new Folder and name it "directory".

When you publish to the directory, you type "public_html/directory"
      [public_html is = yourdomain]

Your file name can be anything, photo, forum, pigsty, cowbarn etc.,
      once publish to "public_html/directory,

the url will become www.yourdomain.com/directory/cowbarn.html when you search for it using your browser.

Each new page publish must have a link back to your index page vice versa.
