    downloading lost page file

I have recently made changes to one of the pages on my site. I published it but either forgot to save it or through some strange force it got deleted.

I have read somewhere in the past that I can download or transfer the file to my system. I have done this, I think. The problem is that it is not in a recognizable format to BV.

How do I convert this file?

    Hi travlinman
You would of had to save it for the page to publish...
Retrieve the html from the C-Panel and go from there..
Maybe some one else will weigh in with a better way to do

Any idea how I go about changing the file format from php to bvp (BV recognised) format?

        Hi,

Copy and save the url of the webpage in Wordpad.

Open BV and select File>New page>From existing HTML page>remote from the internet>cut and paste the url you saved in wordpad in the box and click OK.

        Then wait.

                Re: downloading lost page file

                I treid this:
                File->New page->From existing HTML page->
then chose "Remote (from the internet)"
                then pasted "http://www.nlneilson.com/programs.html"

It pulled the page down, it is good it can be done this way, Thanks!

The background color, links and the text are there but the text is run together in a single sentence.
Is there a way to convert the format or should I just copy and paste the text into a new page and into text boxes?

Making a new page will work OK.
I wanted to make changes and add images.

BlueVoda seems to be a good program.

"... webpages created with BlueVoda can only be published to a web Hosting Account With VodaHost.

                    The hidden gimmick.

Will delete everything associated with BlueVoda and defrag.

Maybe an administrator can remove my name from any mailing lists associated with this program.

                    Thanks.
