    Re: counter

You need to get a html code for it on Google Somewhere,

Then you get a HTML box and paste the code into it and position it where you want on your page

What good is knowing how many "hits" your site gets when you can't tell what kind of activity that actually represents?

You would be better off not using a very unprofessional site addition such as a "counter" and simply use the statistics and details for your website which is available in your Control Panel, under Site Statistics!
Not only are 3rd party "counters" very unprofessional and lacking any real statisical information, they also pose a potential threat because they invariably contain malicious script, something you should avoid embedding on your website!

Using the very detailed information there will help you analyze the traffic your site is getting, and if you analyze it properly, might indicate avenues of improvement to elevate your overall results.
