Base question:
If I put ActiveX-dependent features (like rollover links, and just about everything else in BV) what will the effect be on a viewer's browser.
Some can open them, some can not. What gives?
There are many (including my friends) who are totally **** about things like ActiveX, Windows Media Player, Internet Explorer, you name it, posing threats or other undesirable aspects to their viewing experience/computers.
So, when I ask how the site works, they will say "It doesn't work. It's asking for ActiveX and I don't have ActiveX. I don't want ActiveX. I heard it's bad for me."
The same goes for a number of other applications.
