Site name and description does not change on Google

    Hello,
I am trying to change how the name of my site appears on Google (i.e. the bold blue header of every page). When I originally published it and created a sitemap for it, the title just said Corey Carlson, but I want to change it to Corey Carlson -- The official website of musician Corey Carlson. I have re-published it and I think I have re-submitted it to google to be re-sitemapped but it still appears only as Corey Carlson on Google. Does anyone know how to update this? Additionally I want the description to change as well, but that too still appears as it originally was.

    thanks,
    Chris

You will have to wait for google to reindex and show the changes.. you cant force them to do it.

You can ask them to REMOVE it totally and then wait to be reindexed but.. id rather get traffic even from the old pages.
