How can I avoid explict material coming into the guest books
I am sick and tired of having to delete the **** everytime. Does anyone know how we can block this junk from intruding into our website?
Please let me know
Re: How can I avoid explict material coming into the guest books
I mean technically you could check for certain keywords (doing this is outside the scope of the help this forum provides). But even then there is no guarantee it will block all spam, nor will it ensure that it isn't blocking valid posts to your guestbook. Also it would require updating every so often to include additional keywords that are being used at that time. (ie. If you are getting spam with people trying to sell stuff, you will have to update it as new things come out that people try to sell)

Do you use a Password Protected Directory? Need a way to allow users to make their own account, try my .htaccess Login Script
