    Some Advice Please

ok i have published my index page and think it is all done right which is http://tormandguitaristshideout.com

Now once inside my site i have made a home page which at the top i have nav buttons like this:

    Home News Forums Band

When i made the 4 pages for each button i saved them as above, then published them, i also did the page properties and called them also the same is this wrong? Should they have been something like:

    http://tormandguitaristshideout.com/home.html etc....
as when i go to my actual index or main site that is fine i can see it, but the others when i click on the buttons it comes up with the error 404 forbidden message. I am at a loss as to what i should have done, have looked at tutorials many times but somehow only shows you how to name the pages before publishing.
Also when i save them they go into my bluevoda folder and then when published and i log into my cp they are all under the public_html directory should they be in a diff folder or should i put them elsewhere.

You see i am wanting them in that order so everytime you click on the homepage it will take you to the homepage and so forth but keep getting the same erroirs any help would be great.
When i made the nav buttons i linked them to the correct place which was home then news then forums then band, should i have named them like this: http://tormandguitaristshideout.com/home.html??

    Re: Some Advice Please

whatever you name your page, you put at the end of your link and add the page extension (.html or .php)

so if you have apage called 'products' your link would be

(PLEASE GET USED TO USING THE WWW.!!!)

your home page must be called index and as such when linking to the home page you don't use the page name you just use http://www.tormandguitaristshideout.com as it will automatically pick up the home page.
Don't aim for success if you want it; just do what you love and believe in, and it will come naturally.

Don't make an index and a home page... your home page should be your index page

Okay well as the index is the homepage i obviously want a page after people have logged in as a main page if you like, so i thought calling it a home page would be easier but i can just name that something else thanks for the advice:)

If you don't like naming your pages with extensions ( .php .html ) you can always try " folder version ". Just make a folder, and upload your page as index.html or .php, link would look like this - yourpage.com/news/
