    search engines?

    Hi anyone,
I would like to know if it is possible to create search engines on bluevoda. I would like to create a travel website but do not know how to go about it. How do these websites redirect to a booking page for a hotel for example and if that happens how do we get paid? Do you have to make a deal with all these places first or what?
Does anyone have an answer please?

    Re: search engines?

    Hi justyna,

BlueVoda is a Website Builder. It's an editor.
It gives you a wysiwyg (What You See Is What You Get)
environment, a drag and drop editor that you can use
    to create your website.

You don't create a search engine per say. Google has
    the largest market share
, more than 72% as of late last
    year.

You probably meant how to implement a Search Engine
    interface on your website
. Again the major search engines
can give you an interface that you include on your website.

For example, Google gives you option to implement the
interface for your visitors to search the entire website
or just your website or both. Not only it is free, but
if you join Google, and if visitors use the interface
on your website, you can earn money off of that.

When Google gives you that interface in the form of a
code, you can use the HTML box in BV and drop it in there and
position that box on your website anywhere you want.

Having said that, if you want and have the know-how, you should be
able to create your own search engine. A search engine has its own
algorithms, technology and own logic and Math that you would
    be using to create it.

Like I said above, BV is a website builder. Like any other
editor, it has certain limitation. But then again, nothing is
    limitless.

If you have the resources to create a full-fledged travel website,
and I assume you know the industry, you should be able to have
a travel website of your own using BV.

If you don't have the resources, find some sites that have affiliate
programs. If your visitors use your website to get to your affiliate
and buy a travel package from them, you get paid. In essense, you
become their agent at large online.

So using your favorite search engine, do some research on the
travel websites in general and travel affiliates in particular,
and see what you come up with.

More than anything else, you can always download BV, install it
on your computer. As you know, it's free. Go through all the
tutorials, the hooks and the nooks, the nitty-gritty if you will,
take you time, try it out, do different things and some crazy ones too.

To create any website, you must plan for it. In your case, a good
business plan, navigation, design and content for your website.

I don't see any reason why you should not be able to create
    your first travel website.

Remember one thing, like I used to tell my kids when they were
in school. "The slower you do your homework, the faster you would
finish it. And you know why? The less mistake you would make."

You can click below on "How to create your first website."
