  • Not All Content Centering

    Hi All,

I have been trying to center this for a bit and decided to come here for help.

First, here is my website : http://www.mygloblariches.com/testcapture.html

As you can see, the content at the bottom of the page does not center with the rest. I went to page properties and checked the box "center in browser" already.

    Can anyone help me out?

    Thanks!

    Toki

        Re: Not All Content Centering

You probably copied and pasted the formatting from whatever squeeze page you used. try copy and pasting to notepad.. then to a text element

Viewing your source file, the bottom so many lines
          are aligned "left".

Either you probably copied and pasted, like Karen suggested, or
          somehow you lost your alignment.

            Re: Not All Content Centering

Ok, I created a new page with bluevoda but did not copy paste anything. I also deleted the other capture page I had. I typed out everything and still the bottom half of the content it positioned to the left. Is there a way to change that? OR is there a reason why that is still happening?

            Help please!

              Re: Not All Content Centering

I wonder if you just use one <div> with "center" alignment and
then use <br /> for line break, maybe 1 or 2 or 3 or more.

The whole page would be under one <div> instead of so many
with some as center and others as left.

You have tried everything else, why not try this.

Well, I created a whole new page and this is what its doing now. I did no copy and paste. Is there a bug or something with BV?

                  Re: Not All Content Centering

Are you putting ALL that in one box or is it several? If its all in one.. most likely its because its pushing stuff around in the spacing.

You typed ALL OF THAT? You didnt copy and paste ANY of the text?

No.. theres no bug in there.. its doing what its supposed to.

                    Re: Not All Content Centering

                    Hello Karen,

Yes I typed it out but I did do several text boxes, not all in one. I did another redo last night (new page) and I noticed that when I get to the 1200 mark on the ruler, the text aligns left when I preview. Is there is reason that could be happening?

                    Thanks

                      Re: Not All Content Centering

Make sure you are building your site all the way to the left in bv to start and use the page properties to center.. not trying to eyeball it.

Go to view and tick the OUTLINE elements to make sure you dont have a hidden one somewhere on the page.

                        Re: Not All Content Centering

                        Hey there,

Just to let people know my issue was my autoresponder code from GR. For some reason the code was making everything align left. I got with my bluevoda coach, Sara Johnson and she did some great detective work... she ended up narrowing it down to that.

So thanks to the people that gave the advice and tips!
