Text has box behind it, can't make transparent

How do i make the text box transparent, i am on my 2nd web site, i never had this problem with my first one. the new one is htt://www.snowplowsolutions.com you will see what i am talking about i want text white and no background and no matter how many times i reset it, it looks like this???

By default text should have a transparent background. You may have inadvertently changed the background colour when you were changing the font colour.

Delete the text box, reinsert a new one, do the text and set just the font to white. Republish and test.

If that dont work we'll have to look at something else.
