    centering and page width problems?

    Hi,

I want to be able to center all the content no matter what screen size. I understand to build from the top left of the builder.

I have done that, and my content is centered, but I want the top half of my page ( the logo area ) to run through the whole screen ( I want the black area to start from the far left instead of the middle, while the content and logo itself is centered) www.momentumwealth.net

Check it out and please help! I really hope this is doable in bluevoda! Thanks in advance.

I think you have to size the black part inside your background image. . .that will give it the appearance of the black extending out from both sides of the header to each edge. You will have to take out the shadow from the header for the best seamless results.

Hi, I appreciate the reply! But when I resize the black part and check "center in browser", the black part extends far to the right but not towards the left. The black part starts in the center of the browser.

Please, is there any way to set it up so that my logo and info will appear in the middle of the page while having the black part behind my logo (and nav bar) extend across the whole page from left to right?

      Any replies are appreciated!

The way you have it now looks nice, imo. The black shape is exactly the width of the artwork. If you want to extend it to both sides, you do a background IMAGE that is a few pixels wide by the length of the page. The image would be black on the top part and the same gray as the background on the rest. That way, when the image tiles across the screen it forms a black shape at top and the background gray the rest of the way down.
