Using Thumb Drive ?

I am trying to use two computers to work on my bv website "sawgrassvillage.net". I would like to use a thumb drive for all of my work and wondered how or if this can be done. Transfering data and reworking it is very time consuming. Has anybody tried to run bv from a thumb drive?

BV can be downloaded onto a thumb/memory drive and as long as all work/images is done and saved to the external device, then it will work OK.

Note:
I already had BV on both hard drives but I opened the BV.exe from the external one...............
(watch out for the different drive names on different computers.)
