    Picture names

Hi . I'm in the process of building my website. Its for a masonry business . I want to add a few lightboxs to show some of my work . Should I give each picture a name or just leave it at IMG_001 , IMG_002 , IMG_003 ect. ? I think I read it's better if your pictures have a name . Is that true ? Should I rename each file? Or should I just give the thumbnail a title in lightbox ? Thanks , BR7

Yes rename the images, just all lowercase letters though, no apostrphies, no upper case, no symbols etc. Name them whatever gives each image it's true description.
Don't aim for success if you want it; just do what you love and believe in, and it will come naturally.

      BTW

when you have to resize your pics, it is not a good idea to do it by dragging the sides to the size that you want. What you want is to use a utility to resize. Go here http://www.vodahost.com/vodatalk/blu...ixresizer.html

      Good luck

With the BV light box keep your images small in kb's & give all your images a good descriptive name. Then also add a good title to the thumb nail as this acts as a title as well as an alt text which the SE's will see.
        Regards Chris.
