I live in the UK and a website I recently set up with Soholaunch and host with Voda sells stuff in the UK. (www.ethicalasia.com)
I've been disappointed with sales to date especially when some of the key words relevant to the site are quite high on the google results (first page). However I've just realised that when you click 'UK only' as you can do on www.google.co.uk my site doesn't appear at all. I assume this is due to the fact that Vodahost is US based (the domain name is registered to my UK address). Given I am physically selling and shipping goods from the UK I expect the vast majority of customers to be UK based.
I'm very happy with Vodahost and have another site that doesn't need to be on UK pages as it is content driven and doesn't sell anything. However I need to have this particular site showing on UK search results. Can this be done without moving to a UK hosting service? If not can I move it to a UK hosting package given it is a Soholaunch site?
