    Small Problem With Index Page

Thank you in advance for reading this :)

I just published my first page via vodahost using bluevoda and am very happy with the results, there's just a tiny snag.

The page seems to be uploaded as some sort of sub folder instead of existing as my main page you can see my site here: www.safetyandhealthgazette.com/

I'm just wondering if any helpful people might be able to highlight were I went wrong and how I might rectify this.

    Thank you again

That's because you published it as Index instead of index.
No uppercase in page names. Uppercase is OK in page titles.

      Thanks CarbonTerry.

I only uploaded my page from blue voda, I haven't (as far as I know) had the opportunity to name the index page at all.

All I did was upload the file named safetyandhealthgazetteindex and that's about it. If I did put a capital I in instead of i, then I don't know where I did it, as I haven't been in the cpanel and done any backend tampering as I'm a woeful noob and don't want to muck it up.

Is there any course of action I could take to rectify my mistake such as renaming the index, if so could some kind soul please give me the 1 2 3, as I can't seem to find a vid tutorial on it.

      Forever in your debt.

      Thank you

Maybe you haven't made an index page yet? If no, that should be your first page that you work on.
Open the page you have already made (? Index ?)
        File/Save As = index
        publish
        there you go.

            What is your page width?
