black background

i have a small problem when i want to put any text on my web page the box i type in goes black so i cannot see anything im writing until i click off it then i can read it. i have tried the background but its not that. thanks for any help.

Hi Debby, I know exactly what you mean. The easiest thing to do is to temporarily set your background to white, change your text, then change background back to black again.

Go to:
Page Properties/Background
Change the text properties to the color that you want.

Just bear in mind that because you have a black background, although you have placed balck text on top of a white 'second' background, the SE's will read this as black text on black background..
