    http://www.legato.org.uk:2082/

    Hmmm.
I'm pretty new to this stuff, but I think I published my site yesterday (finally). I had the host account set up a few days before. I can't find it on the net. Am I right in thinking that it takes up to 48hrs before it shows??
Also, do I have to type in the whole lot http://www.legato.org.uk:2082/ or will www.legato.org.uk do me, or even http://www.legato.org.uk

This is what you type to get your site: www.legato.org.uk
Although at present it's pointing to a VH page so you need to sort out pointing your domain name correctly.

When mentioning your site on the web, e.g. getting links etc, you give http://www.legato.org.uk/ as your link.

    Ignore :2082/ totally.

      Thanks for that Marincky.
What do you mean though, when you say I need to sort out pointing my domain name correctly?

Wherever you bought your domain name, you need to point it to your VH server. If you got it from VH then contact support and tell them to do it for you.

          Thanks again Marincky,
Yeah, I bought it through VH, so I'll give that a try.
Good luck to you & yours.
